Busy Days....but..God IS speaking...........

it's because of this......................

I'm busy..............

..........buying, wrapping, decorating, cooking, cleaning, working, driving, baking, cleaning, cooking......

............working..........

and it never seems to end...........

yet............

trying to fit in special concerts, ballets, performances, working out, reading, small group prepping............

...........worshiping, savoring the Savior, listening..............

and He puts on my heart to slow down..............

to savor the season.................

.............to  dig in to His Scriptures about His coming and His coming again...............

...........and the reason we do all that we do in this month.................

........................and I will have a post at some point about what God has spoken to my heart........

.............about Christmas and gifts, and children, and husbands, and homes.........and ...........

for now, this week, I am busy........and

trying to find the balance..............

so...................

I will be back.....................later................

for now.................

Making memories and making my home a haven for celebrating Christ in this season..............

My husband always tells me there are only so many hours in the day. You can not pack more into 24 hours than you can do in 24 hours. Something has to go or suffer. The Lord is prompting you to focus on Him and so you, as an obedient child, must. Then, let something go. Focus on Him and what He has for your family! God Bless you greatly in this season! {{hugs}} Can't wait to hear all about what He has been saying! :)

Dear Faith, thanks for your encouraging comments on my blog! Lovely to hear that you are doing your best to be like Mary and sit at Jesus' feet this season.
love Sherrin

I am trying to do the same thing this season sit down at his feet and savor the moment
This is the first CHRISTmas without my mother who is really sitting at Jesus feet right now and it's hard
God bless and have a peaceful joy filled season

It's so easy to get all caught up and forget the very One that this whole season is about. Thanks for the reminder to slow down and and enjoy His presence.
