The Weather: Sunny, beautiful blue skies with a few clouds, warm at 75 degrees F and the time is 2:40 pm.
What I'm thinking about: This morning's class discussion on Proverbs 9.
What I'm reading: Proverbs 7 for homework next week; The Mesmerist (an historical fiction book set in Minnesota; The Apostolic Diet Plan (non-fiction about the importance of the original diet plan outlined by God in the Garden of Eden)
What I'm watching: Husband and I have plans to watch another episode of High Potential on Hulu on Wednesday evening; I'm in the middle of Season 17 Heartland on Netflix.
What I'm feeling: a tiny bit stressed over my ridiculously busy day tomorrow including a 3 hour drive (to my hometown and back all between noon and 5 pm), a morning hike, and my evening book group that begins at 7. Hopefully I'll have time to grab some dinner! (I do have a good reason for the drive to Herkimer and back....let's just say I'm helping an old friend get from the Albany airport to our hometown and then I get to drop him off and return.....am hoping his plane arrives here on time!!)
What I'm thankful for: the dinner out last evening with my youngest daughter and her 2 ballet teachers she had from age 4-18 and whom we hadn't seen in 2 years.
What I'm listening to: the crickets in the backyard, and the dryer spinning in the basement.
What I'm cooking in the kitchen tonight: Grilled blackened salmon; an Asian Salad; Stir-fry zucchini, onions, peppers, tomatoes with fresh parmesan cheese
What's on the calendar this week: a morning hike tomorrow; a drive to central NY and back tomorrow afternoon to drop off an old friend at his childhood home; Small group (book group) tomorrow evening; PT on Wed morning; a trip to the lake on Thursday (if it doesn't rain...we need rain!); Trader Joe's on Friday morning; bonfire Friday evening; a mountain hike on Saturday. Who says retirement is boring??
A Scripture I'm meditating on:
