Today 13 November: I am thankful for my two children. My husband and I told ourselves "one for each hand". 😁
They are both girls, 5 years apart, yet super close emotionally. I'm blessed that both of them live here in the Capital Region of NYS so we see them at least once a month if not more. Both are in jobs they love, have their own apartments and cars and manage their finances pretty well. Although I miss them living at home....(empty nesting is tough sometimes!)...I'm proud of them, their hard work, their loyalty to God and family and that Dave and I keep the doors open for them anytime. They are fun to be around, they have great style, and they teach me all things techy (with more patience than Dave does!). I cannot imagine our lives without our 2 daughters!
These are the latest pics I have of them with me (I seriously need to get them together for a group photo!)

Your daughters are beautiful! It is so wonderful to have children close by too. Empty nesting is a difficult transition! But wonderful to see them out on their own successfully. Blessings to you dear friend!
Yes empty nests require getting used to. We had empty ones for certain periods but then one or other of the kids reappeared before they were all settled in their own homes. We have a daughter and 2 sons and they are all close despite not living close to one another.
