I'm writing this month on the Attributes of God. I'm purposely keeping my posts short, although there is so much to say about each attribute...characteristic that God displays.
Today is G for Gracious.
There is no perfect Christian....Christ-follower. There isn't. If there was, we wouldn't need the grace of God! It's because of His grace that I'm a follower! I'm not perfect in my spiritual walk but when I mess up, God is there with His grace and mercy.
He opposes people who are full of pride. He gives Grace to those who are humble.
and just like God shows grace to us, so too, should we who call ourselves Christ-followers/people of God, show grace to others.
Have you ever experienced the Grace of God? I have many stories about how God has shown me grace over the years......some sins were ones that I did have to face the consequences of it.....because "we reap what we sow"....but in so many other situations, I have experienced the mighty grace of God and I'm thankful for it.
If you have been shown grace by God, extend that grace to others.
None of us are perfect...we all need a little grace! (and you don't have to agree with the other person, to extend mercy and grace....although it can be so difficult). God will help us extend grace.
