The song I am posting is taken directly from Scripture! Matthew 22: 37 "Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God wit hall your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." This is the first and greatest commandment." Jesus was actually talking with the Pharisees and they wanted to know which commandment in the Law was the greatest. The verse originated in Deuteronomy 6: 5 where it states: "Love the Lord your God with all your heartand with all your soul and with all your strength." These words are supposed to be on our hearts! We are commanded to impress them on our children!Now, most of you who are in a contemporary Evangelical church probably have been introduced to the worship songs of Lincoln Brewster by now. The church I attend sings most of his songs for our praise and worship time. And, my husband and I had the privelage to see him in concert at our church this past Sunday nite!! So.... the song I am sharing today is Lincoln Brewster's catchy, contemporary melody, with lyrics that go back to the days of Moses.

Songs are always fun. The concerts I'll be singing in are at the Troy Music Hall, Sat. 26th and at my college's Chapel and Cultural Center, Tues. 29th. The first is an all round music concert with other groups and starts at 1pm. The second is just the choir and starts at 7:30pm.
This song is great! Sing it over and over again until it sinks into brain!! Tha's what I'll do! Thanks
