FOR TODAY
Outside my Window..cerulean blue sky with white, puffy clouds, sun and very low humidity; our wildflowers are blooming more and more each day!
I am thinking...about what special thing to do with my hubby this evening since we are celebrating 18 years of marriage!
I am thankful for...my marriage
From the kitchen...Lemon-garlic grilled chicken, salad, cheesy potato casserole, steamed peas. Chilled bottle of Reisling wine for later tonite.
I am creating...the scrapbook for Claire with her dance show pics
I am going...to my hometown (about 1 1/2 hr. west of here) on Sunday to meet a friend I haven't seen in 3 years and another friend I haven't seen in about 25 years, for lunch.
I am wearing...sandblasted denim shorts, blue scoop-necked cotton Tee, apricot toenail polish, barefeet
I am reading...same books as last week (see sidebar reading list) plus a book about the blind daughter of John Bunyan to my 9 yr old.
I am hoping...to do something special either tonite or later in week with my hubby
I am hearing...my daughters making crazy sound effects while they play a game and a neighbor's lawn mower
Around the house...clothing needs to be put away from laundry basket, checkbook needs to be balanced, 2 bills need to be paid, camper needs to be inspected THIS week, our camping vacation needs to be planned and a site reserved, picnic for Thurs. needs to be planned/items bought
One of my favorite things...hiking in the deep woods on a hot summer day
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week..mail my teen's birthday party invites, go to Cherry Plain State Park with my friend Lynn, her daughter Marissa and my daughter Claire, plan a biking trip for Friday, attend the Valley Cats game and fireworks Friday evening, kayaking on Sat.
