Well, the new year has begun!
Today I head back to work at the elementary school. I really am thankful I only need to work part time. I can do what I love (help to teach special needs kindergartners) yet still be home for my own children.
And even though I am not the Master Teacher anymore, there are still dress rules for teacher assistants. One of which is I must wear shoes. As in no flip flops or bare feet. argh.
and no short denim shorts. In fact, no shorts at all. Not even Bermudas. Yet for some reason I can wear "work shorts". Thank God I found a pair on the clearance rack last May. And they are a neutral color so I can accessorize. But gosh....having to wear shoes again kills me!
