Monday DayBook

FOR TODAY

Outside my window...mostly grey skies and rain clouds; temps are in the love 50s.

I am thinking...about the upcoming presentation I have to do for the organization I volunteer with.

I am thankful for...my husband's help this weekend

From the kitchen...Blackened Salmon, jasmine rice, squash, steamed peas

I am wearing...sage green workout joggers, a grey tee with little shamrocks all over it; a black cardigan, "lucky charm" socks (yes, I was a preK teacher and still have some holiday socks!); and green drop earrings of various shades of green

I am creating...a photobook of SoulSteps Hikes I've led from 2024.

I am going...to the library tomorrow to return 2 books and do some browsing and then to the park to walk if it doesn't rain.

I am reading...Almost Midnight by Paul Doiron; He Speaks to Me by Priscilla Shirer; From the Grave by A.W.Tozer I also read an entry every evening for my night time meditation from Strength, a Daily Devotional by Joyce Meyer

I am hoping...that the sun shines on Thursday for our first day of Spring hike!

I am hearing...the washing
machine and some crows outside

Around the house
...vacuuming awaits iin the bedrooms/upstairs office; laundry needs to go in the dryer; some general tidying up in the family room from the weekend activities.

One of my favorite things...getting a deep tissue massage by my chiropractor or electric stim on my low back (which I had done this morning)

A few plans for the rest of the week: A trip to our town library; class on Wednesday morning; the hike on Thursday; time updating our will with Dave on Friday (he has the day off); movie night with our oldest daughter on Saturday evening at her apartment with dinner from take -out; choir rehearsal for Easter after church on Sunday; more sanding of the deck if Saturday is nice.

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...

Your salmon meal sounds delicious! I need to buy some. I used to dress up when I worked. I didn't go anywhere today but still wore a green shirt. Enjoy the rest of your week!
