This picture I took on our last afternoon (last Saturday) at the beach house.
I was walking on the beach and when I came up to the backyard,
I saw a jay fly up onto this branch.
I love the starkness of this tree.....a reminder that winter is indeed coming.
My favorite candle for December is the Christmas Wreath scent
by Yankee Candle Company. It makes my house smell like a balsam tree.
Light snow on pinecones.....we don't have snow yet
but light snow is in our forcast for tomorrow evening!
And we're going caroling with some of the HizKidz Praise! families so it'll be perfect!
French Vanilla Cafe au Lait with Mint.....yum......
Decorating with candy canes and saving some for chocolate pudding
and hot cocoa. I also like them stirred into the coffee mentioned above.
Those are some of my favorite things from this past week.

I'm out to get those candles today. Hopefully I'll get a deal on them at Linens n Things who are having a closing out sale.
